Widespread campaigns are already on for an eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi festival but still a large section of the society are unaware of the pollution and environmental damage caused by Plaster of Paris idols and chemical paints. Program Conduction: Nss Voulenteers and Hingna Nagarpanchayat together decided to support Clean India Mission and for sustainable Environment. On the visarjan day our students went to Hingna River and aware the people for not putting ganesha in River instead they guided the public how to do it in artificial pond. NSS volunteers also told people about River pollution and its after effects. Students guided the people for not putting nirmalya instead NSS volunteers collected it from people and put in the Kalash made for it. Many people praised the volunteers for their differentiated efforts. Police and the Nagarpanchayat people also thanked the team for helping out in the work. Students was happy and satisfied with the activity.
